We Are Wizards

I enjoyed this film a *lot* more than I thought I would. With the help of some very funny characters, the film didn't try to be all things to all people and just focused clearly on a very specific part of Harry Potter fandom, which appeared to capture the essence of any other part of fandom - take a subject you're a fan of and combine it with something you're passionate about, and damn what everyone else thinks. (I probably should have given it five stars, but one of the films subjects annoyed me so much I just couldn't. The rest of the "cast" more than made up for it though).

Super High Me

As I had hoped, there were many moments where I was laughing hard along with everyone in the theater. Worth watching. (As a doc it was a bit muddled in purpose and story, and as a film it was uneven - cutting 10 min from the front third and back third might have helped tighten it up. Otherwise it might have gotten another star).
