"It was great, but I was ready to come home." follows best friends Cam and Annie as they navigate their way through the mountains and coastal towns of Costa Rica, looking for old comforts amidst new experiences. By turns tender and critical in its approach to its characters, Kris Swanberg's debut feature is an intimate and introspective look at the ebb and flow of female friendship. B-Side and Sundance Film Festival To Offer Enhanced Online Film Guide for 2010

B-Side Fest Genius Sundance 2010
We’re pleased to announce that B-Side’s Festival Genius
technology has been chosen by the Sundance Institute to power the
online film guide for the 2010 Sundance Film Festival
(January 21st – 31st). Launching on December 11th, the improved
Sundance Film Festival online film guide will provide new tools for
audience members to plan their Festival schedule and to explore all the
latest programming. In addition, festival-goers will now have
up-to-the-minute ticket availability information before ordering
tickets online or by phone.

"B-Side has literally changed the landscape for film festivals over the
last years with their innovative and user-centric products.  As
the largest film festival in the United States, we had some specific
needs that B-Side has been solving and working with us on since
June.  We’re confident it will create immediate impact for the
best Festival planning tools we have ever offered." – Sarah
Pearce, Director of Festival Operations

Visioneers, Nerdcore Rising, and Crawford make their iTunes debut

Some of B-Side’s most popular 2009 films, VISIONEERS, NERDCORE RISING, and CRAWFORD, are now available on iTunes for download to own.

<Visioneers> A satirical look at the effects of corporate culture, VISIONEERS tells the story of George Washington Winsterhammerman (Zach Galifianakis from THE HANGOVER). An ordinary man with a comfortable life, George should be content. He has a nice house, a pretty wife, and even a boat. Everything would be fine if people didn’t keep exploding.

<Nerdcore Rising>NERDCORE RISING investigates the newest wave of hip-hop, nerdcore, as it follows the godfather of the genre, MC Frontalot, on his first national tour. Beginning in South Carolina and culminating in nerd mecca – the Penny Arcade Gaming Convention in Seattle – masses of fans across the country come out to bask in the Front’s geek glory as he strives to achieve mainstream success.

<Crawford>CRAWFORD was a one-stoplight Texas town before then Governor George W. Bush began calling it “home” in 1999. Having invented Bush’s “folksy image,” the campaign’s victory thrusts Crawford onto the world stage and an insular community of barely 700 explodes overnight, complete with international press corps, patriotic tourists, boomtown opportunists, and peace protesters.
